Terms & Conditions
DEPOSIT
Your place on this Retreat will not be confirmed until you have paid the deposit in full.
It must be paid via "Reservation" link.
All deposits are non-refundable. More explained in the Cancellations section.
PAYMENT
Once you have placed your deposit, we will issue you a confirmation email and invoice.
The invoice is a legally binding contract with Goldy Birdy.
You can make payments as often as you like, for as much as you like.

We will issue you with an invoice, which you will use to make partial payments on your Package.

100% of your Retreat amount must be paid minimum 6 weeks before your Retreat start date ( if balance is not paid in time we assume you are not participate the retreat )

Fifty (50) percent of retreat balance must be paid 9 (nine) weeks before retreat start date .

Total remaining balance must be paid minimum 6 (six) weeks before retreat start date ( if balance is not paid in time we assume you are not participate the retreat )
We accept bank deposits in GBP, EURO and USD. We also accept Paypal payments.
CANCELLATIONS
If you cannot attend your Retreat, it is important that you let us know as soon as you can. The below conditions apply:

Deposits are non-refundable

If you notify us 90 days or more before the Retreat start date, you will receive REFUND on other (non-deposit) payments made

If you notify us 60 days you will receive 50% REFUND on other (non-deposit) payments made
The above penalties can be waived if you find another dancer to take your place on the Retreat.
If you cancel within 31 days of the Retreat, there is no refund.
MINIMUM NUMBERS

We reserve the right to cancel a Retreat if a minimum of 6 dancers is not met. If the minimum number of dancers isn’t met, and the Retreat does not proceed, all payments will be refunded.
WOMEN ONLY

Our Retreats are for women only.
SHARED vs SOLO PACKAGES

If you are coming with a friend, you may choose a Shared Package. By choosing this package this means you are both agreeing to come on Retreat. You are also agreeing that should one of you cancel their Retreat, the package for the remaining attendee will be adjusted to the Solo package rate.

You are welcome to choose a Shared Package with non-poler friend / husband/partner
TRAVEL INSURANCE
You must purchase your own travel insurance.
You must show proof of your travel insurance 31 days before the Rretreat.
Goldy Birdy does not hold any responsibility for damage to your property, any injury to participants during the full Retreat.
DATA PROTECTION

By accepting the Terms and Conditions you accept that the personal information you have provided is held on Goldy Birdy database.

Goldy Birdy will not sell, trade or transfer your information or use your information marketing, advertising or product services.
POLE RETREAT AGREEMENT
(Please read carefully the Pole Retreat Agreement (the “Agreement”)
By completing, signing, and submitting this form, you agree to be bound by the Agreement between Goldy.Birdy.Retreats (“Company”) and you.
Section 1. Payment
Final balances are due at least 6 weeks before the retreat start date. For reservations made within 30 days of the retreat start date, full payment is required when the reservation is accepted. If payment of the balance of the retreat price is not received by the required date, we will assume you will not be participating in the retreat and cancellation charges in accordance with Section 6 will apply.
Section 2. Your Obligations as a Retreat Participant
a. Follow considerate social behavior with other trip participants and respect their habits.
b. Act in an appropriate and courteous manner befitting the customs of places you visit.
c. Respect the places we visit by using environmentally safe products, staying on established routes of travel, and not littering.
Section 3. Health and Fitness Requirements.
You must be in good physical and mental health to participate in the retreat. If you have any medical or psychological conditions, it is important you let us know well before departure so we can make extra arrangements if necessary. The retreat is not intended for medical or therapeutic purposes. Company is not a medical facility and therefore has no responsibility regarding medical advice or medications that you or your doctor deem necessary for your safe participation. Our retreats take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Medical expenses will be your responsibility, so Company recommends to carry comprehensive health insurance and that foreign travelers purchase travel insurance with a comprehensive medical policy.
Additionally, Company and its retreat leaders reserve the right at any time to refuse a participant the right to participate in the retreat if retreat leaders feel you are mentally or physically incapable to attend or continue and/or if a trip member's continued participation jeopardizes the group's or their own safety. Under these circumstances, refunds are not given.
Section 4. Insurance.
We strongly encourage and recommend the purchase of travel insurance and it is your responsibility to make sure that you are adequately insured for the full duration of the retreat in respect to illness, injury, death, loss of personal items, cancellation, and curtailment
Section 5. Cancellations by Participant
In the event that the retreat is not canceled, but you have chosen not to join the retreat for any reason, including COVID-19, the following policy will apply:
● All deposits are non-refundable.
● Fifty (50) percent of remaining balance must be paid sixty (60) days before retreat start date .
● Total remaining balance must be paid thirty (30) days before retreat start date.
● If you decide to cancel your trip, the following fees apply and are due at the time (prior to departure) we receive written notice of your cancellation.
Section 6. Refunds.
Company does not give any refunds for unused hotel rooms, meals, sightseeing trips, or trek arrangements. Trip price is quoted as a package; credits are not given for services not used.
Section 7. Photography.
Company reserves the right to use photographs or videos from the retreat for promotional purposes. By making a reservation with Company, you agree to allow your image to be used in such photography. If you prefer that your image not be used, please notify the Company before the retreat commences and we will not use your image.
Section 8. Assumption of Risk.
You acknowledge that travel involves potential exposure to dangers and hazards, including equipment failures and negligence, and as a consequence of these risks, you may be seriously hurt or disabled or may die from the resulting injuries, and that your property may also be damaged. In the locations in which many of our retreats are held, standards of accommodation, transport, hospital facilities, qualified health care, hygiene, safety, and service may be limited and may require flexibility and patience on your part. Company assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during the retreat. You assume full responsibility for any costs related to medical care and/or evacuation that you incur. You further acknowledge that Company may contract with independent contractors to provide any and all travel related services and that Company assumes no responsibility, however caused, for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service provided
by an independent contractor or resulting directly from the following: - acts of God - detention – annoyance - terrorism - thefts - pilferage - force majeure - civil disturbances - government restrictions or regulations - strikes - delays and expenses arising from quarantine - failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled - discrepancies or change in transit or hotel services over which we have no control.
Section 9. Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnification Agreement
A. Retreat and Associated Risks - I have chosen to participate in the above referenced retreat (hereinafter referred to as "the Retreat"), which is organized by Company. I understand that:
a. During the Retreat, I may be exposed to dangers and hazards, including equipment failures and negligence by others;
b. As a consequence of these risks, I may be seriously hurt or disabled or may die from the resulting injuries, and that my property may also be damaged;
c. Hospital facilities, qualified medical care, and emergency medical evacuation may be limited or unavailable during portions of the Retreat and, where available, may be expensive; and
d. Company assumes no responsibility for providing medical care during the Retreat, and I will have to pay for any medical care and/or evacuation that I incur.
Section 9. Stay Accomodation
Retreat Host holds the right to change advertised accomodation - if minimum or waiting list fills up to stay up into budget to make Retreat to go ahead instead of canceling.
